INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) With the speaker installed, check that there is no looseness or other abnormalities.

(b) Check that there is no foreign matter in the speaker, no tears on the speaker cone or other abnormalities.

(c) Measure the resistance of the speaker.

Standard Resistance:

for 6 Speakers

Tester Connection

3.2 to 4.8 Ω
for 9 Speakers

1 - 2

Always

4.5 to 6.7 Ω

If the result is not as specified, replace the speaker.

    Release the lock from the inside of the vehicle to open the hood. 1. Pull the hood lock release lever. The hood will pop up slightly. 2. Pull up the auxiliary catch lever and lift the hood. 3. Hold the hood open by inserting the support rod into the slot. ■Open hood warning buzzer
