INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) With the speaker installed, check that there is no looseness or other abnormalities.

(b) Check that there is no foreign matter in the speaker, no tears on the speaker cone or other abnormalities.

(c) Measure the resistance of the speaker.

Standard Resistance:

for 6 Speakers

Tester Connection

3.2 to 4.8 Ω
for 9 Speakers

4.5 to 6.7 Ω

If the result is not as specified, replace the speaker.

    INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 1. INSTALL REAR ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR (a) Engage the clamp and install the vacuum hose to the rear engine mounting insulator. (b) Install the wire harness clamp bracket to the rear engine mounting insulator with the bolt. Torque: 10 N·m {102 kgf·cm, 7 ft·lbf}

     On-vehicle Inspection

    ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION PROCEDURE 1. CONNECT TECHSTREAM (a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3 with the ignition switch off. (b) Start the engine and run it at idle. (c) Turn the Techstream on. (d) Enter the following menus: Chassis / Brake / Active Test. HINT: Refer to the Techstream operator
