Toyota Camry (XV70): USB Device Malfunction (B1585)
DESCRIPTION
This DTC is stored when a malfunction occurs in a connected device.

When any of the following conditions is met:
- A non mass-storage class or incompatible protocol USB device connected
- USB device with an incompatible file system, corrupted or incompatible File Allocation Table (FAT) connected
- "iPod" malfunction
- "iPod" with unsupported firmware connected
- Unsupported "iPod" model connected

- USB device or "iPod"
- Radio and display receiver assembly

NOTICE:
PROCEDURE
1. | REPLACE USB DEVICE OR "iPod" |
(a) Disconnect the USB device or "iPod" from the No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly.
(b) Turn the ignition switch off.
HINT:
When this DTC has been stored, it is necessary to turn the ignition switch off to make it possible for the vehicle to recognize a new device when it is connected.
(c) Turn the ignition switch to ACC.
(d) Connect a known good USB device or "iPod" to the No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly.

(a) Clear the DTCs.
Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs
(b) Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.
