DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) sends signals such as brake request signals to the ECM. If an abnormal signal is detected, the ECM stores DTC P163081.

  • When the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating, the ECM detects abnormal data sent from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) for approximately 1 second or more.

w/o Full-speed Range Following Function:

  • When the vehicle speed is 30 km/h (20 mph) or more and the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating, the ECM detects abnormal data sent from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) for approximately 1 second or more.

CHECK FOR DTCs (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM)

(a) Check for vehicle stability control system DTCs.

CHECK FOR DTCs (Radar Cruise1)

(a) Clear the DTCs.

Powertrain > Cruise Control > Clear DTCs

(b) Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

HINT:

If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.

(c) Check for DTCs.
