REPLACEMENT
PROCEDURE
1. DRAIN DIFFERENTIAL OIL
(a) Stop the vehicle on a level surface.
| (b) Using a 10 mm socket hexagon wrench, remove the rear differential filler plug and gasket. |
|
| (c) Using a 10 mm socket hexagon wrench, remove the rear differential drain plug and gasket. |
|
(d) Drain the differential oil.
(e) Install a new gasket and the rear differential drain plug.
Torque:
39 N

Summary of functions
In vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode, the vehicle automatically
accelerates, decelerates and stops to match the speed changes of the
preceding vehicle even if the accelerator pedal is not depressed. In
constant speed control mode, the vehicle runs at a fixed speed.

(a) Inspect the NORMAL mode switch:
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
