INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT PARKING BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Parking brake actuator assembly operation inspection

(1) Apply voltage to the terminals of the parking brake actuator assembly and check that it operates as specified.

Standard:

Battery positive (+) - v1-2 (MRL+)

Battery negative (-) - v1-1 (MRL-)

Lock

Battery positive (+) - v1-1 (MRL-)

Battery negative (-) - v1-2 (MRL+)

Release

RH

Tester Connection

Parking Brake Actuator Assembly Operation

Battery positive (+) - u1-2 (MRR+)

Battery negative (-) - u1-1 (MRR-)

Lock

Battery positive (+) - u1-1 (MRR-)

Battery negative (-) - u1-2 (MRR+)

Release

If the result is not as specified, replace the parking brake actuator assembly.
