Toyota Camry (XV70): Installation

INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL NO. 1 VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY (for ACIS)

(a) Install the No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly (for ACIS) to the intake air surge tank assembly with the bolt.

Torque:

9.0 N·m {92 kgf·cm, 80 in·lbf}

(b) Connect the 2 vacuum hose sub-assemblies to the No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly (for ACIS).

(c) Connect the No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly (for ACIS) connector.

2. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

     Inspection

    INSPECTION PROCEDURE 1. INSPECT NO. 1 VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY (for ACIS) (a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Resistance: Tester C

    DESCRIPTION The radio and display receiver assembly, roof console box sub-assembly and telephone microphone assembly are connected to each other using the microphone connection detection signal lines. This DTC is stored when a microphone connection detection signal line is disconnected. DTC

    The coolant level is satisfactory if it is between the "F" and "L" lines on the reservoir when the engine is cold. Reservoir cap "F" line "L" line If the level is on or below the "L" line, add coolant up to the "F" line. ■Coolant selection Only use "Toyota Super Long Life Coolant"
