REASSEMBLY
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.
- The following procedure is for the LH side.
PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SHOE HOLD DOWN SPRING PIN (for Rear Side)
(a) Install the parking brake shoe hold down spring pin to the backing plate.
(b) Temporarily install the backing plate to the rear axle carrier sub-assembly with the nut.
NOTICE: Do not twist the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly when installing the backing plate.
HINT: Fully tighten the nut after installing the rear axle hub and bearing assembly. |

(c) Install the rear axle hub and bearing assembly to the rear axle carrier sub-assembly with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 90 N |
