Toyota Camry (XV70): Reassembly

REASSEMBLY

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

NOTICE:

Steps 10 to 17 are temporary reassembly procedures for adjustment purposes.

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL STRAIGHT PIN

(a) Using a plastic-faced hammer, install the 4 straight pins to the rear differential carrier sub-assembly.

8.0 to 9.0 mm (0.315 to 0.354 in.)

2. INSTALL REAR DIFFERENTIAL BREATHER PLUG OIL DEFLECTOR

(a) Using a 5 mm socket hexagon wrench, install the rear differential breather plug oil deflector with the 2 bolts.

Torque:

5.0 N

    INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 1. INSTALL REAR DIFFERENTIAL SUPPORT (a) Install the rear differential support to the rear differential carrier assembly with 4 new bolts. Torque: 72 N
