Toyota Camry (XV70): Steering Angle Sensor Module Circuit Voltage Out of Range (C05261C)
DESCRIPTION
The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) compares the calculated steering angle value based on the yaw rate sensor value with the actual steering angle value of the steering sensor.
DTC No. | Detection Item |
DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area |
C05261C | Steering Angle Sensor Module Circuit Voltage Out of Range |
The steering angle value calculated by the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) differs from the actual steering angle value of the steering sensor for between 0.4 and 4.8 seconds or more (period changes depending on vehicle conditions) |

DESCRIPTION The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) determines the steering angle value based on data obtained from the steering sensor, yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly
DESCRIPTION When the vehicle is being driven in a straight line at 15 km/h (9 mph) for 1 second or more, the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) calculates the steering angle sensor zero point
DESCRIPTION This DTC is stored when the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives an internal malfunction signal from the steering angle sensor.

DESCRIPTION HINT: Although the DTC titles say oxygen sensor, these DTCs relate to the air fuel ratio sensor.
The air fuel ratio sensor generates voltage* that corresponds to the actual air fuel ratio. This sensor voltage is used to provide the ECM with feedback so that it can control the air fuel
REMOVAL CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during fuel pump removal/installation are shown below. Necessary Procedures After Parts Removed/Installed/Rep
