Toyota Camry (XV70): Indicator Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The LTA indicator output request signal is sent from the forward recognition camera to the combination meter assembly via CAN communication.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

NOTICE:

When replacing the combination meter assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a combination meter assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in it will not match the information from the vehicle and a DTC may be stored.

PROCEDURE

1.

READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CAN BUS CHECK)

(a) Using the Techstream, perform CAN bus diagnostics and check that there are no malfunctions in ECUs connected to the CAN communication system.

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (Combination Meter)

(a) Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.
