Toyota Camry (XV70): Refrigerant Overabundance Filling Malfunction (B14BD)

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored if the amount of refrigerant in the in the air conditioning system exceeds a threshold. The air conditioning amplifier assembly judges whether the amount of refrigerant is appropriate based on the detected refrigerant pressure and the compressor assembly with pulley (compressor solenoid)*1 or cooler compressor assembly (compressor solenoid)*2 operation current. If the amount of refrigerant in the system is determined to have exceeded a threshold, operation of the compressor assembly with pulley (compressor solenoid)*1 or cooler compressor assembly (compressor solenoid)*2 will be stopped, and will remain stopped even if the ignition switch is turned off and then the engine is restarted.
