INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FLOW SHUTTING VALVE (NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS HOSE)

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
1 - 2	20°C (68°F)	22 to 28 Ω

If the result is not as specified, replace the flow shutting valve (No. 1 water by-pass hose).

REMOVAL PROCEDURE 1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL RH Click here 2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL RH Click here 3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Click here 4. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL SOLENOID ASSEMBLY (for Exhaust Side of Bank 2) Click here 5. SET NO. 1 CYLINDER
